RAMS Plus continues to introduce new modeling features that allow creative abstraction of system components, accompanied with a wide range of simulation outputs to create a range of metrics and system KPIs, that removes modeling constraints from strict a traditional sector/controller based system. As one example, RAMS Plus modeling concepts continue to expand flexible rule-based triggers from extensive current-state fast-time simulation dynamics. This flexibility derives from not relying on preset ATM events or the identification of a 4D conflict separation to trigger behaviour within the fast-time simulation environment, where in addition behaviour can be triggered from within the simulation using system-interrogating state rules. These modeling features have a successful history ofapplications in high-profile decision support analysis performed around the world.

In parallel, RAMS Plus continues to participate as an agent in ATM validation platforms in support of ConOps to effectively model key features such as System Wide Information Management (SWIM), Net-centric Enabled Operations (NEO), Collaborative planning and balancing of traffic demand and capacity, user-oriented problem solving, and 4D trajectory management. RAMS Plus has been applied as an open-architecture component since 2002 and has since been successfully applied in largescale projects by leading industry and worldwide ATM authorities. As a component in an ATM validation platform, RAMS Plus can play a variety of roles, ranging from representing the ATC and/or ATM environment, to providing 4D trajectory calculation, to providing conflict probe and/or conflict resolution services.
