We didn’t quite make the podium, but ISA Software landed in the TOP 5 of the FAA’s 2024 Aviation Safety Data Transformation Challenge! with our Safety II oriented entry on “Capturing Safety in Success: Autonomous Multimodal AI for Reporting Hidden and Positive Safety Events”
Launched as part of the 2024 FAA Reauthorization Act, the challenge focused on exploring advanced analytics and AI capabilities to improve aviation safety and understand causal factors for safety events in the US National Airspace System.
Not a bad placing for a boutique aviation software and concept / safety /risk analysis company, especially having been pitted against the AI and aviation safety heavyweights that made up the 10 finalists – down selected from an original pool of 68 companies that answered the call.
Congratulations also to the three winners: Palantir, BAH and ATAC – we’ll be gunning for you next time 😉
