AENA and its partners ISA Software and INDRA have succesfully completed their Real-Time Simulation trials to evaluate dynamic re-sectorisation concepts supported by the ISA Software/INDRA developed Enhanced Traffic-Load Monitor decision support tool.
The simulation was carried out over five days at the Sevilla Air Traffic Control facility in the scope of the EU 5th Framework Gate-to-Gate analysis project, and were innovative in the use of fast-time ‘look-ahead’ simulation modelling in support of real-time decision making policies.
