The ISA “CHILL” hardware-based gaming platform was successfully used to carry out ATM network and airspace management gaming exercises in support of the SESAR WP-E Assessment of the Degree of Automation on Human Roles (ADAHR).
In partnership with AENA, CRIDA and ISDEFE, the platform was used in it’s interactive, hybrid Human-in-the-Loop/Fast-time gaming mode with experts from CFMU/Network Management carrying out collaborative network management activities with varying levels of automation available for baseline scenarios (2012 – with present day tools) and two future scenarios with partial (2030) and full (2050) automation in place.
