The 12th edition of the SID will be hosted by HUNGAROCONTROL in Budapest from the 05th to the 08th of December providing an ideal opportunity for ISA and our EU research partners to present posters and papers related to three SJU funded research projects completed recently, namely:
DACUS- Demand and Capacity Optimisation for U-space.
DACUS developed a service-oriented Demand and Capacity Balancing (DCB) process for drone traffic management in urban environments. A SID poster will show the key challenges addressed during the project.
TAPAS – Towards an Automated and explainable ATM System.
A SID paper will present the findings, lessons learnt and guidelines for the use of explainable and transparent Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) in ATM. Focus is made on the results obtained from validating two explainable AI/ML prototypes for Conflict Detection & Resolution (CD&R) and Air Traffic Flow Capacity Management (ATFCM) problems.
NOSTROMO – Next-Generation Open-Source Tools for ATM Performance Modelling and Optimisation.
Two SID paper presentations will be made during the SID. One focuses on the development of Active Learning based Metamodels for ATM Performance Assessment and the second (jointly with SIMBAD project partners) on the application of the NOSTROMO Active Learning Metamodeling for R-NEST simulation studies.
See you there !
